Fully Funded Vienna BioCenter Summer School in Austria 2023 – The Vienna BioCenter Summer School in Austria is a summer school which provides students with unique insights into the latest topics in bioengineering, microbiology and biotechnology.
The Summer School offers four weeks of intensive studies and lectures on a variety of topics to young students who are interested in pursuing a career in this field. Students will gain hands-on experience by conducting investigations and engaging in laboratory work.

What is the Vienna BioCenter?
The Vienna BioCenter is a world-renowned research center located in Austria. It is home to some of the world’s leading scientists and researchers in the fields of biochemistry, molecular biology, and genetics. The Vienna BioCenter also houses a number of state-of-the-art facilities, including a high-tech laboratory and a library with over 1 million books and journals.
The Vienna BioCenter was founded in 1998 by the Austrian government and is currently funded by a number of private and public organizations, including the European Union.
Location and Dates
The Vienna BioCenter Summer School will take place from July 29th to August 9th, 2023 in Vienna, Austria. The program is open to undergraduate and graduate students with a strong interest in the life sciences.

Application Requirements
In order to apply for the Vienna BioCenter Summer School, you must be a student enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program at the time of application. You must also have completed at least two years of undergraduate study by the start of the program.
To be eligible for funding, you must be a citizen of Austria, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Switzerland, the United Kingdom or the United States. If you are not a citizen of one of these countries, you may still apply but will not be considered for funding.
